Daisies, not of the pushing variety

Photobucket
My lovely friend, Lucy Topp, sent me this darling little navy frock, with little daisies trimming it! How thoughtful of her :) If you are in Sydney Australia and need a professional makeup artist, she's your gal! One of these day's I'll be lucky enough to have her do mine.

And to match perfectly, these nylon gloves! How hot are they? Like lingerie for your hands. I feel like a new collection is starting.

My hair was inspired by this photo, and although it didn't come anywhere close, I was quite happy with the result considering I used a curling iron and not pin curls. Would be much easier if I didn't have bangs to hide!

I don't know how you do it! You always look stunning and not a bit frumpy, which is what always happens to me when I try to do real vintage! The hair is gorgeous!

OMG! What are the chances....this dress originally came from my Etsy shop, Adeline's Attic Vintage! That's so cool! I got it at a big vintage fair out here in Canada...so, it's been a little world traveller of a dress. You look perfect in it.

What era is the dress? It's hard to tell with out any shots of the skirt. As for the daisy trim...I see this at Vogue Fabrics. It must be a classic. Now the matching buttons. Probably could find those too if I wanted!
